Single file cyclists in Solon

I commute to work in Solon on occassion. When I am on Liberty road in Solon, I come across this sign. It bothers me. The road has absolutely no shoulder and this posted sign supersedes the state law of riding two abreast. Basically it gives the wrong impression to motorists that we cyclists have some sort of limited access rights to this road. I keep meaning to ask the Solon authorities why the signs exist and if they are aware that they are out of step with the vehicle code. Anyone know anything more about this?

Sat and Sunday recaps

We had some nice rides on this past Sat, Sun and Monday. I did 38 with a group of 11 up to Chagrin Falls and back on Sun and then 5 rolled out on Monday for 40 through the valley with some serious hills.
