5 go 100 at Eddy's Sweet Corn Challenge

Despite the rain, which turned out to be better than 89 and sunny, five hearty Hudson Velo Club members completed the Century ride this past Sunday. We had 3 flats but only one on our direct group. We had over 4,000 feet of climbing and really had a great time. It took 8 hours which I think surprised us all. Here is the shot of the group at the finish. We enjoyed a nice dinner and beers at the Tavern of Richfield as part of our entry fee and went home with some fresh sweet corn.

July 4th Weekend Happenings!

Happy July 4th weekend,

I know people have lots of things going this weekend. I have lots of options. Sunday morning a few of us will do the Medina Twin Sizzler Bike race in age group categories. It is 27 miles and open to citizen racers. Anyone who would want to carpool or caravan out to that event, reply directly to me. I am for sure going leaving Caribou at 6 a.m.



Sunday Morning Ride - Typical ride will go out from Caribou at 7:05 a.m. Route and distance to be determined by group. If someone would like to plan a route and send cue sheets - great.



Monday Morning Ride - 7:05 a.m. Caribou - For those that have the day off and want to get a few more miles in.
